And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

The phrase "stir up" means provoke. People are usually provoked to a point of anger. Here, it's the opposite: a provocation to love and good works. One believer inspires another towards good. The word activation led me to this text.
