No offense

I'm listening to Bill Johnson's sermon from Sunday and I am again impressed by this issue of avoiding offence towards God. I'm thinking about one of the most painful times in Jesus life, when John the Baptist was murdered. He got alone with God and processed it. Bill has this insight that if you want the peace of God, you have to give up the need to understand: "the peace that passes all understanding". A mentor of mine coached me to pray, "I don't understand, but I trust you."
