Real Joy
I am overwhelmed with joy despite all our troubles.
In all my trouble I am still very happy.
In all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.

We can experience joy, no matter what our problems. That is the Spirit-filled life. God is the source of real joy. The Holy Spirit is the most optimistic person you will ever know. He is also the wisest and the most comforting. Sorrow, grief, and anger have their times and places. But through their toughest times, the Holy Spirit gives us joy. There is a heavenly optimism. In Christ, everything really is ok. There is suffering, but it's suffering with God.
